Happy Thanksgiving from American Surplus
Happy Thanksgiving from American Surplus
November 21, 2016
We would like to wish all our friends, family, and customers a very Happy Thanksgiving. American Surplus is a family business and we value family above all else. We strive to treat our customers and friends like family and work together to solve problems and provide solutions for businesses across the globe.
This year has been great for American Surplus and we thank all our employees for their hard work and dedication. The used material handling business is not always easy, and we all work hard to make sure everything works out for our customers. Our sales team and production staff work together to provide warehouse solutions every day and help businesses get their feet on the ground, as well as help those already in business continue to grow and prosper.
As we near the end of 2016, a lot of things are happening around American Surplus. We have our Pizza Luncheon this week in honor of Thanksgiving. With all the cooking to be done on Wednesday and Thursday, what better way to relax than kick your feet up and order some delicious pizza and calzones to share with our friends. Next week, another employee outing at the Providence Bruins game will be taking place as they host the Binghamton Senators at The Dunk. Following the New Year, we have a huge event going on, which will be celebrating American Surplus’ 25thAnniversary. We could not be more proud of this milestone and again, led by Bill & Claire DiMaio, we have all our employees to thank in accomplishing 25 years of success. We will also be celebrating Bill DiMaio Sr.’s 80th Birthday & honoring his retirement. He is one of the most hardworking people in this country, and will continue to aid American Surplus and guide the company to continued success in the future.
“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
