American Surplus Inc. is the only company in the industry that offers a 30-day parts guarantee on select products. See the information below for details of the guarantee and how it applies to certain products.

Used Conveyor Guarantee

American Surplus Inc. offers a 30-day parts-only replacement guarantee on pre-owned conveyors. If any part is found defective within 30 days from receipt of conveyor equipment, American Surplus Inc. will provide another pre-owned part to the purchaser at no cost. This does not include labor to replace parts.

This guarantee does not include parts damaged by the purchaser, trucking carrier, or improper installation. (Equipment that arrives damaged must be signed for as damaged and the purchaser must file a claim with carrier). American Surplus Inc. will not be responsible for any freight charges and will not accept collect returns.

This guarantee is meant to serve as peace of mind that the equipment you purchase from American Surplus Inc. is in good running condition. Typically, if a problem is to exist, it will be identified in the first week of operation. Our goal is to make sure that what you purchase is what you receive.

Used Floor Cleaning Equipment Guarantee

Pre-owned Floor Cleaning Equipment may be returned within 30-days of receipt for a full refund of the cost of the equipment, less a predetermined (mandatory minimum) 30-day rental fee, providing the particular piece of equipment is returned in good, resalable condition, free from damage by Purchaser or Trucking Carrier. (Equipment that arrived damaged must be signed for damaged and the purchaser must file a claim with the carrier.)

Pre-authorization must be given by American Surplus Inc. prior to return of equipment. All freight charges are to be prepaid by purchaser. ASI will not be responsible for any freight charges, and will not accept collect freight returns.

This guarantee is to serve as peace of mind by allowing the customer an opportunity to use the equipment purchased, and confirm that it is what was ordered. If you decide you need a larger or different vehicle, a full merchandise credit will be offered (less freight) towards your upgrade. All equipment can be viewed on our website, or may be seen in-person at our warehouse.

Used Forklifts Guarantee

American Surplus Inc. offers an "ASI Guarantee" on pre-owned lift equipment with a 30-day trial fee, as follows:

Pre-owned packaging equipment (Balers, Case Erectors, Case Sealers, Strapping Machines, and Stretch Wrappers) may be returned within 30-days of receipt for a merchandise credit for the cost of the equipment, less a predetermined (mandatory minimum) 30-day rental fee, providing the particular piece of equipment is returned in good, resalable condition, free from damage by purchaser or trucking carrier. (Equipment that arrived damaged must be signed for damaged and the purchaser must file a claim with the carrier.)
