Interlake New Style is the older version of pallet rack. Interlake New Style Uprights are NO longer manufactured by Interlake Mecalux. This brand is often confused with teardrop pallet rack. While teardrop is the dominant option for pallet rack today, there is still plenty of Interlake new style in the used markets. The only hope of getting New Style Interlake pallet rack is on the used market. New-style racks function in the same way as the old style and fall under the general teardrop-style of racks. However, it does not have classic teardrop-shaped keyholes. The opening/slot on Interlake new style is more rectangular at the top and tapers downward. The new style pin is commonly referred to as a shaved pin. This shaved pin design accommodates the new style opening.
